Who We Are
Leeds Food Aid Network (FAN) is a city-wide collaboration that brings together food aid providers, charities, faith-based groups, and grassroots organisations. We believe that food support should be dignified, accessible, and based on partnership rather than isolation.
Our Mission
We exist to tackle food insecurity in Leeds by building strong connections between organisations, supporting community-led initiatives, and ensuring that individuals and families can easily find the support they need β when they need it.
What We Do
- πΊοΈ Maintain a city-wide food provision map to help people locate services.
- π€ Support over 150 partner organisations across Leeds β including food banks, community kitchens and delivery services.
- β‘ Provide emergency coordination during crises like the COVID-19 pandemic.
- π Facilitate shared learning, networking, and training opportunities for partners.
Our Roots
FAN began as a collaboration between local churches, food aid charities and community kitchens. Over the years, it has grown into a city-wide support network working to reduce hunger and ensure food dignity for all residents in Leeds.
